Responsibilities
- Assist with Dispensing: Learners will be trained to support qualified pharmacists and dispensary staff in accurately and safely dispensing medications to customers, while adhering to all regulatory guidelines.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with inquiries, addressing customer concerns, and ensuring a positive in-store experience.
- Stock Management: Learn how to manage pharmacy inventory, stock rotation, and expiry date monitoring to ensure the availability of essential medications.
- Health and Safety: Comply with all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized dispensary environment.
- Administrative Duties: Assist in administrative tasks such as record-keeping, data entry, and maintaining patient profiles.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a solid understanding of pharmaceutical products, their uses, and potential interactions.
- Compliance: Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in the pharmacy field, including patient confidentiality and relevant regulations.
Qualifications
- Matric certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.
- South African citizenship or permanent residence.
- A genuine interest in the healthcare industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
